ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Devon Abler and I am a Board Certified & Licensed Music Therapist serving individuals in the Grand Forks area. I provide one on one & group Music Therapy services to individuals in all walks of life. I graduated in 2019 from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors in Music Therapy, completing a 1200 hour internship in Kansas City, MO. I was invited to study music therapy in Mori, India in 2018 where we provided individuals in long term care and with special needs with music therapy services. I specialize in utilizing a trauma informed care, holistic approach to treatment, working with individuals with Autism, traumatic life experiences, PTSD, psychological disorders, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Early Childhood Development, developmental and physical disabilities, and more to reach person centered goals. Blumen Music Therapy comes from the German word Blumen, which means flower. Here at Blumen, we are helping individuals bloom into who they are created to be. I look forward to meeting you!
